Birthday & Mother's Day Extravaganza

May 8th was a very special day in our family this year.  Not only was it Sally & Mary Helen's 28th Birthday, but it was also Mother's Day!!!  And my first one to celebrate as a mom!  We drove down to Temple to be with our families and it was so great to see everyone!  We are blessed to only live 2 1/2 hours away.  Carter will soon learn the exact time it takes to drive down I-35 between the two, since he has already made the trip four times in a little over 3 months of life!  Here is a short recap of our weekend:

It was a wonderful weekend full of family and fun!  I am so thankful to be Carter's mom and to celebrate another year of life.  Thank you, Lord, for all of the blessings you bestow upon us.  May we live up to your expectations of us and glorify you in all we do.

Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. -Proverbs 31:30
