Codi's Bring-A-Book Baby Shower

We hosted a Bring-A-Book baby shower for Codi & Baby Boy Kingman at Mom & Dad's house.  Given all that Codi and the Richardson family have been through over the past few months with the loss of her dad, Wade, and brother, Kyle, in a plane crash, it was wonderful to see smiles on their faces today!  We cannot wait to meet sweet Baby Kingman, due to arrive sometime around September 6th.

Peanut Butter Lover

Carter had peanut butter today for lunch.  I ran to get my camera after he started eating to catch the pure JOY on his face!  This boy loves him some PB!  He ate it on Magic Pop "Pop Pop" and on dried apples.  He is not a big fan of PB&J sandwiches, but I might try just a peanut butter sandwich and see how he likes it.  For being such a picky eater, this is good news for both Carter & Mommy!

Afternoon at The Dallas Arboretum

We spent the afternoon at The Dallas Arboretum with some friends from our Square One playgroup - Melissa & Kendall Conklin, Katie & Greyson Bowman, Kellie & Grayer Davis and Kellie's sister & niece Chrissa & Elle Stavlo.  The weather was gorgeous and, once again, unseasonably warm for the end of February - the high was 82 degrees!!!  We ate a picnic lunch, let the kids run/crawl around and just enjoyed being outside on such a beautiful day.  Carter was into everyone's belongings and food.  And I am pretty sure his favorite thing he did today was eat the Arboretum's beautiful grass...
