The theater offers one movie each Thursday afternoon at 1:30pm. This week the movie was Sarah's Key:
Both of the babies did so well!!! Strangely enough, Celeste & I were the only mothers with babies in the theater. We were so worried that the other people in the theater (mostly retired couples) were going to hate us, but then we relaxed and no one complained the entire time. The staff rolled in a changing table and turned down the volume (after we reminded them) for the babies. We sat in the back row of the front section so that we could have the strollers on either side of our seats. It looked like we had practically moved in with all of our diaper bags, pillows, toys, etc. :)
It was really fun to be able to go out to see a movie because we obviously do not get to participate in activities like this very often anymore. Celeste & I fed, changed, rocked, held and laughed at both Carter and Stella and got to watch most of the movie, too! It did have a few subtitles, which made it a little harder to follow at times, but we helped each other out when the other mom was distracted with baby duty. C & S were both mesmerized by the large screen and even watched some of the movie with us!
I think we will definitely try this again sometime! Thanks, Celeste & Stella, for making our afternoon so much fun. We love hanging out with you two!
